Soccer was my passion, and physical fitness helped me achieve some of my goals. I played for both the California and Regional Olympic Development teams, and was a part of the US National pool. I also played some college as well as Semi-Pro ball for the Fresno Fuego. Because I had the opportunity to play at such a high level, I became familiar with multiple training techniques. Today I have been able to utilize those techniques and incorporate them into my training sessions. Hi, my name is Kerri Smith. I’m 49 years old and I was born and raised in Tulare, CA. During my junior and high school years, a big part of my life was competing in gymnastics. I competed locally in high school through CIF and in Northern California through USGF competition. During those years, I was also very involved in ballet and jazz dancing. Given that exercise along with the fact that before I was born, my dad was stricken with polio and lost the use of his lower body; physical fitness and activity have greatly influenced me to be the person that I am today. I taught Life Science and PE at my hometown junior high in Tulare for two years. I also taught a variety of aerobics classes at the Lifestyle Center in Visalia, CA. My name is Lou Alvarez. My journey as a Personal Trainer started in 2001 in the USMC.
